We booked our travel through Costco and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We get kind of uncomfortable staying at high end posh places but never at one time did anyone look down upon us. We felt valued and appreciated. We were free upgraded to a higher level room and were given an anniversary gift by the hotel. We took advantage of the free bike use and swam and used the hot tub. The breakfasts at the Alaia were amazing. The staff from front desk to housekeeping all were friendly. The open air of the lobby is so nice. Our bed was super comfortable and being able to leave our window open to hear the ocean was so nice. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Such an amazing hotel!!! What a beautiful property! All rooms have a wonderful view, backed by the calming and gentle roar of the North Shore waves. It is a front row seat to nature’s majesty! Loved the bars, restaurants and shopping. Exceptional service from every aspect! Our 10 yr old grandsons loved the private surfing lessons and Surf with a Pup! This hotel is definitely worth the drive and they do a marvelous job of catching the North Shore culture and spirit.

Place is amazing. This is the third time staying here and it seems like the property is a touch more refined since Ritz Carlton taking over. They know how to staff as well. Special shoutout to Sashi, Patrick and Katie at the pool. Also- Charley is housekeeping is real asset to the hotel. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great service and very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and well put, i believe that all rooms have their view of the water, sunrise or sunset. (But the hallway to your room is toooooo cold) The sunsets there were amazing as well. The bar, restaurant and pool are all overlooking that sunset. It was amazing! They also offer daily activities included with the resort fee like uke lesson, lei making and more activities that you can pay to do. And include a welcome lei for both you and your partner. And i like that their keycard is a waterproof bracelet (small details ) I wished they have a breakfast buffet like the other Ritz that we went, featuring some hawaiian food and fruits would have been amazing. Also the pool was too small for me but as i said the view on it is great, also turtle bay beach is right on the other side which is great.

We didn't stay here, but I imagine the rooms and facilities are fantastic as it's a Ritz-Carlton. We just went to the semi-public beach which was AMAZING! Saw a turtle in Turtle Bay so it lived up to the name. Definitely bring some water shoes because rocks. The reef is something you can walk out on if you have foot protection and a bit of adventure. The waves are beautiful.

Nice overall, room view was lovely. Would I say worth the money you pay? probably not. Sunshine from the front desk when we checked in, was very very welcoming. Yoga with Rachel was lovely, very beautiful energy. Andy from valet, was super cool. Other than that or them, nothing too wow about it.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Oʻahu, Turtle Bay was truly memorable. The grounds are stunning and expansive, and the pool area is absolutely amazing—easily one of the highlights of the property. Dining at Roy’s Beach House was a treat, with delicious food and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service throughout the resort was excellent: attentive, friendly, and consistently thoughtful. The rooms, while comfortable and perfectly good, didn’t quite reach the level we usually expect from a Ritz-Carlton, but they certainly didn’t detract from the overall experience. The massive gym was a fantastic bonus—well-equipped and ideal for anyone who likes to stay active while traveling. Overall, the hotel feels like its own landmark and oasis, beautifully set apart from the rest of the island. We only stayed two nights and genuinely wished we had an extra night to enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu Turtle Bay (Hawaii) from January 2–4 for two nights, and this was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was on another level. Truly exceptional. Every single staff member was warm, attentive, and proactive — anything we needed was handled immediately and graciously. At one point, my son had a little fall in the room. I called the lobby, and within minutes someone came up with a first aid kit, brought two ice packs (one for the moment and one for later), and made sure he was okay. That level of care really stood out. Our ocean-view room at the edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to that view felt surreal. The property itself is immaculate — beautiful hallways, thoughtful design, subtle nods to the local ecosystem, and an overall atmosphere that feels refined but still welcoming. One feature that was surprisingly amazing: the laundry room. They have three washers and three dryers, detergent packets and dryer sheets included, all complimentary. Traveling with kids, we used it twice, and the fact that it was free and conveniently located on our floor made a huge difference. The amenities were top-notch. The gym is excellent, the pool area is beautiful, and in the evenings the vibe is lovely with live music, a beautifully decorated lobby, and just an overall elevated energy. When it rained one day, they had umbrellas ready for guests and it didn’t dampen the experience at all. Location-wise, it’s perfect. You’re close to everything like Foodland nearby, about a 10-minute drive to Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck — but honestly, once you’re on the property, you don’t really want to leave. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be the environment FELT exclusive because of some guests who carry themselves with a certain privilege. That said, the staff themselves were nothing but kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel completely at ease. I would give this place 20 stars if I could. It was one of the most memorable stays we’ve had, and we absolutely plan to return. Ritz-Carlton truly sets the standard.
